Advisor Options

There are 2 main types of advisors that specialize in managing aspects of a sale transaction.  They consist of Business Brokers and Investment Bankers.

BiggsKofford Capital is a boutique firm that specializes in providing a CFO Solution specific to M&A transactions of privately-held middle market clients that may not have a CFO experienced in M&A, institutional owners, audited financial statements and other attributes that are often preferred by larger Investment Banks.

We also offer support to M&A transactions of middle market clients that do not need a full-service M&A broker; such as management buyouts, peer mergers, family transfers, or transactions with parties that were independently identified.

The Devil is in the Details

In addition to helping maximize the purchase price, we pay close attention to the detailed terms in a transaction. Middle-Market deals contain many elements that can significantly impact value. Our approach includes negotiating all these details to maximize the overall value.

Commonly negotiated deal points – OTHER than Value

Value of an M&A Advisor – More than a “Finder”

We survey clients after transactions are complete to ask what they valued most about our services. You might be surprised to learn that finding the buyer wasn’t the most valuable part of the process.

Value of an Advisor – all the way to Closing

The value of a Company will be impacted throughout the selling process, both before and after an offer is negotiated. We understand it is equally important to create value before the offer AND then maintain value through a structured process leading to Closing:
